The Curly Sue

The Curly Sue was a natural evolution of the popular Suzy Sucker. There was a gap in the market for a high-quality, lifelike lure that featured a long, curly tail. Our goal was to offer the customer a lure that would not fall apart after one fish and that the components fitted would withstand any size trophy predator. The internal rigging wires in these baits feature 0.051 solid stainless steel wire, and we used twisted closed loops for hook attachment. We don't use weak, soldered wire that can easily break and not only cost you a fish, but could also leave hooks in the fish you just lost. The next step in the process was to use a soft plastic that is manufactured to our own specification. This plastic is made here in the USA and is very strong, pliable, and still remains supple to maintain fish-catching action.
When we ensured the internal rigging wire and plastic was up to standard, our next step was to make sure that the rigging wire would not pull out of the lure. I have seen other soft plastic lures where the rigging harness has pulled out of the lure body and sometimes this is even without catching a fish! To solve this problem, we now bond our soft plastic to the rigging wires. Add this and the high-quality plastic that we use, and you have a bait that is built to last. The final step is fitting high-quality, extra strong Worth split rings and Mustad hooks. Now you have the best soft plastic predator lure on the market today and remember, we make our own lures right here in the USA!
